TEXTILES-Whether made of wool, cotton, linen, silk or hemp, textiles serve as the perfect metaphor for the complexity and co-dependence of our existence. Whether patterned or plain, these interwoven entities simultaneously reference that for which they were intended; the human body. However, I am also interested in how their forms and materials offer a trace of all that went into their design, production and dissemination.
